Before inquiring I would highly recommend reading the sections below on Frequently Asked Questions and each wedding package details to have a solid understanding of what to expect before, during and after your wedding. Once you've read through everything, fill out a contact form and make sure to ask questions on anything you’re still unsure about. There are no bad questions and I’ll be happy to clarify anything!

Booking

After we’ve landed on a wedding videography package that perfectly fits your needs I’ll send you a proposal to book your services! 30% of the total amount will be due upfront and be used as a retainer to secure your date. Once your wedding videography is booked I’ll be available for any questions you may have via email, phone call, or text. Even after booking you can still make adjustments to your wedding videography package up to 60 days before your wedding!

Filming & Post Production

One month before your wedding I’ll send you a questionnaire that gives me all the information I need to keep me organized and give me a feel for you and your partners personal preferences. After the wedding you’ll receive email updates on when you can expect your wedding videos. Everything will be delivered via a link that will let you download the files onto you phone, tablet or computer.

FAQs

 

What is the difference between a full wedding film and a feature wedding film?

A feature wedding film is the video that you would see on my Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or website portfolio. The feature wedding film is a short cinematic video that beautifully and simply summarizes your wedding day. The Full Wedding Film is one long continuous film of the entire day. The Full Wedding Film will include all footage captured only cutting out any moments of me explaining a pose, if I accidentally leave the camera on while walking, etc. The Full Wedding Film will have professional colour grading and sound design with continuous footage of the first look(s) ceremony, speeches, first dances, etc.

 

Will I get to pick the music that’s played over the feature wedding film?

Yes! You will get to pick the song played over your feature wedding film as long as I have the full copyrights to use it. I currently have a subscription to a website with thousands of songs you’re able use in your wedding video free of any copyright infringements. If you would like to use a song that is not on the website then you will have to contact the copyright holder (usually the artist or record label the song was made with) and then obtain the proper legal documents for me to use the song in your wedding video. If you would like to obtain the proper legal documents for me to use someone else’s song I will need to have all documentation before your wedding.

 

Can I keep my wedding films private?

Absolutely! This is a common request I receive from clients and I’m happy to honour it! I will never post your full wedding film to social media and I’ll always ask before posting your feature wedding film. There is absolutely no hard feelings if you’d like to keep your wedding films private!

 

Is having 2 videographers worth it?

In short, yes absolutely! Having two videographers is the best way to completely ensure every angle of your wedding is captured. Even though one videographer “can do the job just fine” having two makes a world of a difference. Two videographers will give you the ability to capture more of the little details that may get missed but will be something you’ll be so thankful to look back on in 20 years. If you’re not quite sure 2 videographers for the whole day is necessary you can always book one for the morning only, from the morning until the end of the ceremony, etc.

 

Can I make TikToks or short videos with my wedding films?

For sure! If you want to edit your wedding films to make short videos for social media or to share with friends there is no issue with that. The only thing I ask is that you don’t change any of the colour grading/add filters to the footage, and that you tag me when sharing online!

 

Can you travel to my Wedding?

Yes Absolutely! I’m currently based in Prince Edward County however I’m willing to travel anywhere in the world to film your wedding! Travel within 150km of PEC is free and outside of that distance has a cost of $75/hour. If you’re considering a destination wedding fill out a contact form for more information on travel expenses.

 

What if I need to change or modify my wedding videography package after booking?

After booking you’re able to change and modify almost anything from your wedding package 60 days before your wedding! For obvious reasons its better to not make drastic changes to your videography package as your wedding date approaches but I totally understand how things can change and I’ll do my absolute best to accommodate your needs!

 

Can we choose to have our wedding vows played over our feature wedding film?

Yes! Your wedding vows will be already be recorded and included in your Full Wedding Film but if you choose to have them played over your feature wedding film I will separately record you and your partner reading them during the morning or evening in a quite area/room. This will give me the opportunity to use a larger high quality microphone to capture the audio, and to ensure that I don’t have any crying, sniffling or background noise as well.

 

Will you set up lighting?

Only if unless absolutely necessary. Most commonly I’ll set up one or two studio lights at night during the reception, speeches, first dances, etc. I will only set up a light if I feel its absolutely needed to make the video looks its best however it will be your decision if you would prefer to go without one.
